Job summary

Harvey is expanding its global People Operations team and seeks a Senior People Operations Generalist to support onboarding, compliance, and day-to-day HR questions across regions. The role emphasizes partnership, process development, and scale as the company enters new countries.

You will collaborate with Payroll, Legal, IT, and Workplace teams, ensuring robust SOPs and cross-functional alignment across time zones and regions.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of HR/People Ops experience in a mature, multi-country organization.
• Experience running compliance like a program, building and improving processes over time.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and compliance in at least one region outside the US (EMEA/JAPAC preferred).
• Working knowledge of GDPR and HR data protection requirements.
• Experience with HRIS/payroll platforms such as Workday, Deel, or Remote.
• Ability to work independently across a global, distributed team and know when to escalate.
• Strategic mindset with program and project management skills.
• Excellent written communication for async collaboration.
• Comfort being the go-to contact for a region during your hours.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end employee lifecycle for a global population, with work divided by function and program.
• Own global compliance programs: build, maintain, improve processes, and drive efficiency across countries.
• Serve as primary contact for employees, managers, and external partners during Europe/MAPAC hours.
