Job summary

Harbor in the United Kingdom seeks a Payroll Project Lead to own global payroll migrations and transformation projects. You will lead client-facing engagements, advise organisations on transitions to global payroll vendors, and direct the delivery of global payroll audits.

This is a hybrid role with remote work capability, based from our Nantwich office. This senior position combines deep payroll expertise with confident leadership and stakeholder management, shaping how we deliver engagements

Qualifications

• Strong payroll expertise across UK and/or multi-jurisdictional payroll.
• Proven experience leading payroll migrations, global audits or major transformations.
• Excellent client relationship management with senior stakeholders.
• Strong project leadership, accountable for overall health and delivery across multiple workstreams.
• Deep understanding of global payroll vendors (CloudPay, ADP, Papaya, Deel).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payroll migration projects from design to go-live.
• Lead global payroll audits with actionable recommendations.
• Advise clients on vendor selection and migration strategy.
• Own project status, governance, risks, issues, and stakeholder communications.
• Prepare data migration workbooks and process documentation.
• Translate complex vendor requirements into clear guidance for clients.
