BDA is seeking an experienced Global Payroll Specialist with a strong background in both domestic and international payroll processing. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of hands-on payroll experience, a deep understanding of ADP systems (currently using, preferably Celergo), and strong Excel skills to support detailed reporting and reconciliations.

Location Requirement: This role follows a hybrid schedule and requires you to work onsite 3 days per week (with 1 day remote) at one of the following BDA office locations:

United Kingdom: Manchester, London, Milton-Keynes, or Luton

France: Paris

To be considered, you must live within commuting distance of one of these locations, as payroll processing will be completed onsite, Monday through Wednesday.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle payroll processing for EMEA (UK, France, and Germany), and possibly more international employees as we continue to grow.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
  • Handle garnishments, deductions, and benefit withholdings accurately
  • Understand Time and Attendance, International and Domestic Benefit accruals
  • Utilize ADP systems for payroll input, reporting, and audits (e.g., Workforce Now, Celergo , Global View, Smart compliance)
  • Develop and maintain payroll reports using Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate payroll delivery
  • Support internal and external audits, YE Audits and or amendments with payroll data and documentation
  • Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years of payroll experience -- UK and France Payroll experiences at a minimum, and Ideally Germany too
  • ADP experience required -- Ideally to have Celergo. If not Celergo, to have ADP WFN, Global, or Lyric.
  • Strong ADP systems knowledge
  • Fluent in both English and French required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas)
  • Solid understanding of payroll tax regulations (Federal, State, Local) Pension, filings, and garnishment processing
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills, excellent reconciliation skillset
  • Ability to manage confidential data with discretion
  • Payroll certification is a plus or years of service

We are pleased to share the base salary range for this position is £60,000 - £70,000. If you are hired at BDA, your compensation will be determined based on factors that may include geographic location, skills, education, and experience. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any offer. In the spirit of pay transparency, the range listed is the full base salary range for the role and hiring at the top of the range would not be typical, in order to allow for future salary growth.
