Job summary

JAG Talent is recruiting a Global Payroll Manager to lead the end-to-end payroll function for a global workforce of around 300 employees. The role focuses on accuracy, compliance and timely delivery across multiple countries.

You will work closely with HR, Finance and external payroll providers to optimise processes, controls and systems while ensuring statutory deadlines are met. Hybrid work from a Victoria, London office is offered.

Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Global Payroll Manager to join a successful international business based in Victoria, London.

This is a key role within the organisation, responsible for managing and delivering accurate, timely payroll across a global employee population of approximately 300 employees. You'll take ownership of the end-to-end payroll process while working closely with HR, Finance and external payroll providers across multiple countries.

The Role

As Global Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring payroll is processed accurately, efficiently and compliantly across the business.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing the end-to-end monthly payroll process for approximately 300 employees globally.
• Coordinating payroll across multiple countries and jurisdictions.
• Working closely with HR and Finance to ensure payroll data is accurate and delivered on time.
• Managing relationships with external payroll providers and other third-party partners.
• Reviewing payroll calculations, reconciliations and reports.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant payroll legislation, tax requirements and statutory deadlines.
• Managing payroll queries from employees and resolving issues promptly.
• Supporting payroll-related audits and year-end processes.
• Identifying opportunities to improve payroll processes, controls and systems.
• Producing payroll reports and providing accurate information to Finance and senior stakeholders.
• Keeping up to date with changes in international payroll legislation and best practice.

About You

We're looking for an experienced payroll professional who is confident managing global or multi-country payroll and enjoys taking ownership of the full payroll function.

You'll ideally have:

• Strong experience managing payroll for an international employee population.
• Good knowledge of UK payroll legislation, with international payroll exposure.
• Experience working with external payroll providers.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• The ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work with stakeholders at all levels.
• A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines.
• Experience with payroll/HRIS systems and Excel.
