Job summary

InterDigital, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Manager to lead the global payroll function for ~500 employees across multiple countries, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and SOX-compliant processes.

You will partner with HR, IS and GL, manage ADP and other vendors, drive automation, and oversee year-end tax forms and audits, with opportunities to optimize controls and data integrity in a fast-paced technology environment.

Qualifications

• 8 to 10 years of payroll experience, including international/global payroll.
• Experience with ADP/Workforce Now and Workday HCM.
• Multi-state payroll experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (filters, formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
• Strong interpersonal skills and confidentiality in handling employee information.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical payroll deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the global payroll team and vendor partners for ~500 employees across 7 countries.
• Drive process efficiencies and optimize automation/integration between HRIS and payroll providers.
• Ensure earnings, deductions, taxes and benefits are set up correctly and funded timely.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax requirements and respond to tax notices.
• Oversee year-end process and distribution of tax forms; audit payroll processes for accuracy.
