Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the Packaging Strategy, Packaging Style Guide, and Packaging Process
  • Responsible to ensure that Packaging is Legal and Retail compliant and steer the Regions activities
  • Support with Packaging Expertise and Guidance to implement functional and sustainable packaging, considering user needs.
  • Develop external relations for the regional brand and company based on PT brand strategies and BU Marketing concepts, ensuring optimisation of KPIs.

Job Tasks

  • Define the Packaging Strategy in strong collaboration with product management, global portfolio, and other BUs.
  • Manage the Packaging Style Guide, ensuring consistent branding and managing changes within timeline and budget.
  • Set up the Packaging Process and ensure process alignment and overall stakeholder management.
  • Monitor legal and retail packaging requirements across the Regions (material bans, retail sustainability scoring, different countries' waste packaging declarations, Amazon’s packaging guidelines, etc.). Steer the implementation of the packaging requirements to ensure compliance in the markets, including timeline and budget. Support the Product Teams to understand and integrate the packaging requirements into product development projects.
  • Provide guidance to Product Teams on packaging concept development and packaging issues (e.g., packaging engineering, material, print, In-box POS, etc.).
  • Own regional PR and contribute to PT PR.
  • Manage external relations, enhancing brand reach and engagement via online/offline events, targeting partners, stakeholders, and sales.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Brand Management, Business Administration
  • Experience Level – 5 years or more
  • German Language Skills are desirable
