The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for operational excellence.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

• Responsible for implementing operational strategies to optimise efficiency and effectiveness across a global Operational P2P team
• Define and execute an operational strategy that enhances efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability across the global P2P function.
• Ensure operational excellence and alignment to core Finance strategic objectives by implementing best practices, automation and digital transformation initiatives
• Monitor and communicate (at all levels) key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver on agreed SLAs
• Lead and inspire a multi-functional team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, including cross-functional delivery of key GFO projects
• Establish and maintain key stakeholder network, cultivating strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders (including suppliers and procurement teams), ensuring functional and (senior) leadership alignment at all times
• Manage resources to maximise productivity, support business needs and minimise adverse impact and develop and execute a robust talent strategy to ensure succession planning, skill development and career progression for team members.
• Operate with a cost-conscious mindset
• Implement risk mitigation measures and ensure existing and emerging external legal and regulatory concerns are managed where they impact P2P; partner with the Global Process Owner to influence policy development and enhance P2P capabilities.
• Collaborate with related functions to identify, impact assess and implement new technologies and tools to streamline operations.
• Remain up to date with the Finance technology market and assess system-related opportunities through structured, established channels
• Lead audit preparedness efforts, ensuring all P2P processes are well-documented, controlled, and audit-ready at all times and act as an SME
• Own the Operational governance framework in the P2P tower by ensuring strict compliance with all internal and external regulatory/legal requirements (global and at country level, including adherence to timely and accurate reporting around e-invoicing, etc.

What will you bring to the table?

• Extensive experience in the P2P domain, with expertise of the P2P end-to-end process, policies, risks, compliance and control
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with experience influencing senior leadership and driving cross-functional collaboration at scale
• Strong demonstrable Leadership skills with experience in leading and managing P2P Operations and Resources across multiple geographies and time zones, with a track record of driving high performance and engagement.
• Experience in process optimisation & operational performance management, and a strong analytical mindset to interpret complex data
• Experience in implementing Finance technology, guiding principles and operating models
• Experience operating in a complex global matrix organisation
• Experience with project management
• Ability to translate strategic objectives into operational excellence
• Excellent command over English (both written as verbal proficiency)
• Can do attitude, energetic, analytical and forward thinking
