Job summary

Croda seeks a Global Operational Technology Architect to define and govern the target OT architecture across global manufacturing sites. You will act as Croda's OT design authority, balancing global standards with site needs while ensuring security, resilience and operational excellence.

The role requires extensive OT/industrial automation experience, knowledge of ISA-95/ISA-62443, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across Manufacturing, Cyber Security and IT.

Qualifications

• Significant architecture and engineering experience across OT and manufacturing technology.
• Proven governance of OT architectures across multiple sites with global standards.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, SCADA/HMI, plant networks and data platforms.
• Applied knowledge of ISA-95, ISA/IEC 62443 and NIST SP 800-82.

Responsibilities

• Define, maintain and communicate Croda's global OT reference architecture and standards.
• Set minimum architecture requirements for industrial control systems and networks.
• Act as OT design authority for risk-significant investments and changes.
• Partner with Cyber Security to embed security by design across manufacturing.
• Develop a multi-year OT architecture roadmap aligned with safety and capital planning.
• Establish architecture assurance checkpoints across concept to production.
