Job summary

Winston Fox seeks a Senior Network Engineering Lead and Technical Design Authority to join a fast-growing hedge fund. You will be the global technical authority for networking, shaping enterprise network strategy, and delivering resilient, high-performance connectivity across regions, data centers, and cloud environments.

The role covers LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, trading and market data connectivity, security, and cloud networking in AWS and Azure.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Enterprise Network Engineering in senior/lead roles.
• Expertise in Routing, Switching, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, QoS, Multicast for market data.
• Experience with WAN technologies including SD-WAN.
• Production-scale cloud networking in AWS and/or Azure with hybrid connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation and evolution of the global network across regions, data centres and cloud.
• Own network strategy and governance as the Technical Design Authority for networking.
• Oversee trading and market data connectivity (Exchange, Broker, Co-Location links) and cross-connects.
• Provide hands-on leadership with automation (Python/Ansible/Terraform) and ensure high availability and performance.
