Job summary

Taschen in London seeks a Meta Data Specialist to shape how our titles appear across global channels. You will work with digital, editorial and sales teams to ensure metadata is accurate, consistent and optimized.

Responsibilities include overseeing metadata processes, using the CMS and title management system, creating best practices, and coordinating with retailers and data changers to fix issues promptly. English fluency is required, with additional languages a plus.

• Experience publishing metadata and ONIX.
• Ability to analyse and provide detailed feedback.
• Excellent communication and organization to meet deadlines.
• Proven track record of identifying areas for improvement.
• English fluency; additional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee metadata process across departments.
• Ensure titles are set up with complete metadata in CMS.
• Create and enforce metadata best practices with retailers.
• Coordinate with data aggregators, wholesalers, libraries.
• Serve as point of contact for bibliographic data queries.
• Troubleshoot data issues with third parties.
• Customize product feeds to Google, Facebook, and others.
• Perform regular quality checks on localized feeds.
