Job summary

Marks & Spencer is seeking an Assistant Merchandiser to support international merchandising, driving the delivery of commercial plans through sharp analysis and cross-functional coordination. You will maintain accurate sales, stock, and intake data, monitor in-season performance, and ensure ranges land on time to meet business objectives.

You will keep tools up to date, prepare weekly trade insights, and support stock and supply-chain actions across markets.

Qualifications

• Understanding of critical path and ability to manage timelines.
• Highly numerical with strong analytical and interpretive skills for data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication, influencing and organizational skills across teams and partners.
• Ability to interpret performance metrics and use insights to maximise sales and growth.

Responsibilities

• Maintain BU/department forecasts by updating sales, stock and intake plans using merchandising tools.
• Prepare weekly trade reports, summarising KPIs, best sellers and partner performance trends.
• Monitor channel stock levels and articulate overstock risks to channels and merchandising teams.
