Job Title: Global Medical Director, Immunology

About the Job

This role reports to the Immunology Global Medical team within the Specialty Care organization. The Medical function acts as a strategic partner across commercial, regulatory, clinical, and market access teams to support patients. The team is committed to scientific exploration, working on first-in-class treatments and a pipeline for diseases such as dermatologic, respiratory, rheumatologic, and gastrointestinal conditions.

The Global Medical Director will lead the development and execution of the medical plan for the development and launch of Amlitelimab (anti-OX40L) in respiratory and GI indications. Reporting to the Global Medical Lead, Amlitelimab, this role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to manage lifecycle, stakeholder engagement, data generation, and communication plans, ensuring readiness for medical launch.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Serve as an internal expert supporting Amlitelimab's evidence generation strategy globally across respiratory and GI indications.
  • Support data generation efforts by aligning global strategies with local affiliate insights.
  • Collaborate with local and global medical teams to develop communication strategies and KOL relationships.
  • Assist in the development and training of local medical teams.
  • Build relationships with global, regional, and key market teams, facilitating best practice sharing.
  • Operate within corporate and industry compliance guidelines.
About You
Education:

Advanced degree in a scientific discipline (M.D., PhD, or PharmD).

Experience:
  • Extensive immunology experience, preferably in gastroenterology.
  • Experience in clinical development and/or medical affairs at a global or regional level.
  • Experience in clinical research and patient care.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment.
  • Proficiency in public speaking.
  • 8+ years in biotech or pharma industry or related immunology experience.
  • Commitment to innovation.
  • Experience working collaboratively across functions and with diverse teams.
