Job summary

Manpower in Gloucestershire is seeking a Global Materials Planning & Logistics Leader for a 6-month transformation assignment in a regulated aerospace environment. Hybrid work 2-3 days per week, rate £70-80 per hour via Umbrella, with oversight of end-to-end planning and logistics.

You will diagnose gaps, build a roadmap, lead changes to improve delivery, inventory, data governance, and ERP/MRP effectiveness, while coaching leaders and aligning cross-functional teams for sustainable performance.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in aerospace or regulated manufacturing supply chains.
• Proven track record in transformational leadership across planning, inventory, and logistics.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration across global teams and partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end transformation of global materials planning and logistics model.
• Establish S&OP/SIOP, reviews, escalation pathways, and cadence.
• Improve delivery, schedule stability, and cross-functional alignment.
• Drive inventory productivity and working capital while maintaining service levels.
• Strengthen ERP/MRP planning effectiveness and data governance.
• Coach leaders and build high-performing teams.
• Influence enterprise strategy and capacity planning across functions.
• Ensure safety, quality, export controls, and regulatory compliance.
