Who We Are

Boston Consulting Group partners with leaders in business and society to tackle their most important challenges and capture their greatest opportunities. BCG was the pioneer in business strategy when it was founded in 1963. Today, we help clients with total transformation-inspiring complex change, enabling organizations to grow, building competitive advantage, and driving bottom-line impact.

To succeed, organizations must blend digital and human capabilities. Our diverse, global teams bring deep industry and functional expertise and a range of perspectives to spark change. BCG delivers solutions through leading-edge management consulting along with technology and design, corporate and digital ventures-and business purpose. We work in a uniquely collaborative model across the firm and throughout all levels of the client organization, generating results that allow our clients to thrive.

What You'll Do

As a Marketing Manager within BCG's Global Advantage (GA) Practice Area (PA), you will support the development and drive the execution of our marketing strategy to strengthen GA's positioning in the market, create & amplify our unique thought leadership, and support commercial priorities. You will have a global responsibility with strong visibility to GA leadership, independently managing the execution of a broad portfolio of marketing efforts across channels, in close collaboration with the team leader. You will be working across a diverse range of topics within the practice portfolio (including Geopolitics, Trade & Investment, Global Customer Insights, Global Operating Models, as well as both Go-To-Market and ESG in Emerging Markets).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Market & Competitor Sensing: Work with Topic Offer Managers to get a pulse on the market (competitors, audiences, markets, media etc) and act as a thought partner to the GA Marketing and Topic leadership teams-bringing fresh ideas, proactive recommendations, and deep marketing expertise to evolve, differentiate and enhance the overall IP program.
  • Publication Development & Editorial PMO: Manage editorial products (IP) for GA, coordinating across authors, practice leadership, and central editorial teams. Oversee publication development end-to-end, ensuring strong ideas, timely development, and high-quality delivery.
  • Seat-At-The-Table Orchestration: Support the coordination and marketing activation of GA within key global events and seat-at-the-table initiatives, ensuring alignment with GA priorities and visibility across the broader BCG network.
  • Flagship Event Support: Support execution for major GA events, including planning, logistics, audience engagement, and pre/post-event communications. Partner with central events and campaign teams to maximize impact.
  • Budget Management: Manage the GA marketing budget across workstreams, tracking spend and ROI, and optimizing allocation in collaboration with the Marketing leader.
  • Web Presence: Own GA's bcg.com commercial and thought leadership pages, driving a compelling narrative for our clients.
  • Cross-Collaboration: Work closely with other practice areas, global and local marketing teams, to advocate and integrate GA marketing priorities.

This is a hands-on role with strategic influence, ideal for a marketer who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment and is passionate about driving visibility and engagement for a high-performing practice.

You're good at:

You are a motivated marketer who thrives in a global team environment, working across time zones, with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities. You combine strong project and stakeholder management skills with creativity and a commercial mindset.

In particular, you bring strengths in:

  • Translating complex business priorities into compelling marketing narratives and deliverables.
  • Managing multiple workstreams and ensuring high-quality, on-time execution.
  • Collaborating with and influencing senior stakeholders, while building a strong internal network.
  • Balancing strategic oversight with detail-oriented project management.
  • Working in ambiguity and adapting to evolving priorities.
  • Coaching and developing junior team members.
What You'll Bring

  • Master's degree preferred
  • Proven track record in editorial/content pipeline management, digital marketing, and seat at the table positioning
  • Experience in stakeholder management, particularly with senior/executive audiences, in a collaborative setting
  • Ability to handle defined work area, process or smaller projects with minimal guidance (sourcing, learning programs, etc.)
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to align marketing with business priorities.
  • Strong understanding of GA's focus topics, such as geopolitics, trade, globalization, and international business
  • Flexibility working across time zones, cultures, and working styles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with proven ability to measure and report on impact.
  • Advanced proficiency in Outlook, PowerPoint, Trello and Slack
Who You'll Work With
