Summary of Role
We are looking for a strategic Global Marketing Manager (maternity cover) to develop and execute marketing plans for our ESG & Reporting Business Line globally. In addition to the global role, this individual will be responsible for overseeing marketing for the UK region, engaging with local leadership and the wider marketing team to ensure connectivity of plans across all Business Lines.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a marketing leadership role with interest in working in sustainability or a purpose-led organisation. This role will benefit from being part of a global Marketing team, reporting into the Group Chief Marketing Officer, Kirsten Doddy.

Working closely with regional teams and other three Business Line Marketing Managers, the successful candidate will take the lead on developing and executing marketing plans for the Business Line, in line with business objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, business development, and client teams, to develop and implement global marketing plans that align with the objectives of the business line.
  • Manage lead generation for the business line, tracking key activities throughout the marketing funnel to optimise conversion.
  • Manage planned event sponsorships and Anthesis-led events, ensuring ROI tracking and reporting.
  • Oversee a global thought leadership and content calendar, ensuring the creation of high-quality, impactful content.
  • Plan and manage pay-per-click (PPC) advertising campaigns as needed to support business line objectives, sharing expertise with others within the team.
  • Work closely with our Product Marketing Manager to drive outbound marketing initiatives for one of our SaaS products, Mero.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with regional marketing teams, driving alignment on marketing plans, budgets, and localised strategies.
  • Oversee and manage the ESG & Reporting business line marketing budget, ensuring clear ROI tracking for key initiatives.
  • Manage and mentor the UK Senior Marketing Consultant, supporting their professional development.
  • Report on marketing strategies, activities, and performance to the Chief Marketing Officer and ESG & Reporting leadership.
  • Collaborate with global business line marketing leads and regional teams to develop the 2026 marketing plan and budget, building on 2025 efforts and results.
  • Proven experience in a senior marketing leadership role, ideally within a global B2B organisation.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously and drive results.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across functions and geographies.
  • Hands-on experience in planning and executing in-house events, as well as managing external event sponsorships.
  • Excellent communication and copywriting skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to track marketing performance and optimise strategies accordingly.
  • Experience in ESG, sustainability, or professional services/B2B marketing.
  • Hands-on experience in managing and optimising PPC advertising campaigns.
