Job summary

1st Executive is seeking a Procurement Sourcing Lead – Market Data to join its global procurement team in London. You will lead a small team, set priorities, and own two sub-categories within Market Data: terminals/desktop services and data feeds, among others.

You’ll develop global category strategies and manage end-to-end sourcing from opportunity assessment through negotiation and contract execution, partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver measurable cost, quality and innovation

Qualifications

Proven team management experience, with the ability to coach colleagues and build capability.
Strong Market Data procurement and category management experience.
Track record of delivering complex sourcing projects and multi-year category strategies.
Excellent negotiation, analytical and communication skills.
Commercial judgement and relationship-building to influence senior stakeholders globally.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver global category strategies, managing end-to-end sourcing from opportunity assessment to contract execution.
Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align sourcing plans with business priorities and optimise spend.
Drive supplier performance improvements, delivering benefits across cost, service and innovation while managing risk and compliance.
