Job summary

Murray Recruitment Ltd. are recruiting a Logistics & Purchasing Coordinator for our client based in East Kilbride. The role focuses on coordinating purchasing, stock movements and international freight while maintaining accurate records across the supply chain.

The successful candidate will report to the Stock & Logistics Controller and work closely with suppliers and freight forwarders. A varied workload includes invoicing, customs documentation and UK and international shipments.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing, logistics, supply chain or a similar coordination role.
• Experience placing and managing supplier purchase orders.
• Strong understanding of stock control and goods received processes.
• Experience coordinating freight and working with freight forwarders.
• Knowledge of import/export procedures and customs documentation would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Place purchase orders with suppliers and monitor orders through to delivery.
• Maintain and update order tracking spreadsheets.
• Monitor supplier lead times and provide stock availability updates.
