Pertemps Leeds Commercial is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in Uttoxeter. The role involves coordinating UK and international shipments, preparing documentation and supporting day-to-day warehouse activities.

You will work with freight providers and DGSA to ensure safe, compliant transport by road, air and sea. The position requires hands-on logistics experience, a forklift licence and strong IT skills with Word and Excel.

Qualifications

Experience in logistics, warehousing or distribution.
Forklift licence required.
Strong organisational and IT skills with Word/Excel.

Responsibilities

Coordinate UK and international shipments and pickups.
Liaise with freight providers to arrange transport by road, air and sea.
Prepare and maintain shipping, customs and export documentation.
Support DGSA-related transport documentation and regulatory compliance.
Package, label, palletise and secure consignments for dispatch.
Receive deliveries, check goods, store materials and prepare outgoing consignments.
Ensure correct identification and documentation before shipments depart.
Operate forklift trucks and other handling equipment safely.
Monitor stocks of packaging, pallets and materials for dispatch.
