Job summary

Guardian Jobs is seeking a Director of Localisation to provide strategic leadership for delivering localisation solutions across a portfolio of film studios, distributors, streaming platforms, and production companies. You will drive operational efficiency, revenue growth, and serve as the main liaison between clients and internal teams.

Based in the UK, you will lead cross-functional Client Services and Operations teams, manage P&L, and mentor senior staff while shaping the localisation

Qualifications

• Previous experience in film, television, advertising or gaming is essential.
• Significant experience within media localisation or post-production.
• Strong business development and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute localisation strategy for all filmed content.
• Drive improvements in workflows, technologies, quality standards and delivery performance.
• Build and grow strategic client relationships at senior decision-maker level and lead the Client Services team.
• Support revenue growth through client retention, upselling and account development.
• Lead, mentor and develop Client Services and Operations teams.
• Manage P&L, forecasting and profitability targets.
