Job summary

The Travel Corporation (TTC) is seeking a Financial Accountant in Port Glasgow on a hybrid basis. You will ensure accurate financial records, manage general ledger activities, and deliver statutory and management reporting, supporting month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.

You should be a part or fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 3–5 years’ experience, strong IFRS knowledge, and proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle R12) and Excel. Multi-entity experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Part or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 3–5 years’ experience.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and financial controls.
• Experience in multi-entity and multi-currency environments is advantageous.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle R12) and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Month-End Close: Prepare and post journal entries and ensure timely close of ledgers.
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Perform and review reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Reporting: Support preparation of management accounts and statutory financial statements.
• Compliance & Audit Support: Ensure compliance with internal policies, IFRS/local GAAP, and assist with external and internal audits.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in financial reporting and control processes
