The Global Law Tax Quality Leader reports to the Global Tax Quality Leader and Deputy Global Tax Quality Leader and is expected to be a full-time role.
The opportunity
A unique opportunity to work within Global Tax Quality, supporting Global Law in an era of transformation. Global Law spans a network of over 80 jurisdictions with complex legal and regulatory frameworks and innovative service offerings which are constantly evolving and developing as commercial markets and client needs evolve. This role provides the opportunity to expand an internal network globally, work with Law leaders on new services and opportunities, and gain insight into alternative regulatory regimes. The role also encompasses supporting Global Law in the development of new technologies to drive efficiencies in service delivery across multiple markets. This leadership role provides an opportunity to elevate your knowledge, experience and exposure within the firm.
The Global Law Tax Quality Leader, consulting with the Global Tax Quality Leader, is responsible for monitoring, controlling and enhancing the quality of Law services and technologies and for the consistent execution of global policies, procedures and methodologies.
The overall role is largely one of protecting the brand and reputation of EY, ensuring and enhancing the quality of Law service offerings in all respects, understanding and enabling Law business strategy, collaborating with region and country Law and risk management executives to advise business leaders and navigate quality requirements to deliver compliant and commercially viable solutions to clients. Amongst other areas of focus, the Global Law Tax Quality Leader advises business leaders and professionals regarding legal, ethical, regulatory, and professional obligations specific to the provision of legal services and our Law service offerings. The Global Law Tax Quality Leader will also support Global Tax Quality with other special projects and broader quality initiatives not specific to the Law subservice line.

What we offer
The compensation ranges below are provided in order to comply with United States pay transparency laws. Other geographies will follow their local salary guidelines, which may not be a direct conversion of published US salary ranges. We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $175,500 to $450,900. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $210,700 to $512,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
