What You'll Do

The Senior Director – Network Platform Lead is responsible fordriving the strategy, execution, and optimization of BCG’s global network infrastructureacrosson-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. This role ensuresend-to-end automation, high availability, security, and scalabilityof network services while integratingSD-WAN, cloud networking, and AI-driven automationto supportglobal business operations. The leader will overseenext-generation network architecture, operations, and transformation, ensuring a seamless and high-performance connectivity experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Transformation:

  • Define and execute amodern network platform strategy, integratingcloud networking, software-defined networking (SDN), and AI-driven automation.
  • Ensureend-to-end network automationto improve operational efficiency, agility, and reliability.
  • Drivezero-trust network securityprinciples, ensuring compliance and proactive threat mitigation.
  • Establish aglobal observability and telemetry frameworkforreal-time network insights.
  • Align network strategies withbusiness growth, cloud-first initiatives, and digital transformation.
  • Overseeglobal network architecture, spanningdata centers, cloud environments, and enterprise connectivity.
  • Leadnetwork modernization efforts, includingSD-WAN, cloud networking, and edge computing.
  • Optimizenetwork traffic, application delivery, and global routing strategiesto improve performance.
  • DriveAI-powered network monitoring, automation, and self-healing capabilities.
  • ScaleInfrastructure as Code (IaC) for network automation, ensuring agility and operational efficiency.

IT Service Management & Operational Excellence:

  • Establishnetwork reliability objectives, includingSLOs, SLIs, and error budgets.
  • Implementreal-time incident detection and responseusing AI-driven network analytics.
  • Ensurehigh availability, network resilience, and 24x7 operational support.
  • Develop afollow-the-sun support model, ensuringglobal network performance optimization.
  • Implementnetwork observability and predictive analyticstoproactively prevent outages.

Security, Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Drivezero-trust security frameworks, ensuringsecure and resilient network access.
  • Ensure adherence toISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, GDPR, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate withcybersecurity teamsto enhancenetwork threat detection and mitigation.
  • Implementautomated security policy enforcement, reducing human intervention in risk mitigation.
  • Optimizenetwork infrastructure spending, ensuringcost-effective, high-performance connectivity.
  • Leadvendor selection, contract negotiation, and vendor relationship management.
  • Ensurenetwork services align with business goals, optimizingROI and cost efficiency.

Leadership & Talent Development:

  • Build and mentor ahigh-performing network engineering team, fostering a culture ofautomation and continuous learning.
  • Lead a team ofnetwork architects, cloud networking specialists, and operations engineers.
  • Promote acollaborative, data-driven, and proactive culture, ensuring agility and innovation.
  • Establish workforce development programs forcloud networking, automation, and AI-driven operations.

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experienceinnetwork engineering, cloud networking, or IT infrastructure.
  • 5+ years in a senior leadership role, managinglarge-scale global network environments.
  • Deep expertise incloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP), SD-WAN, and network automation.
  • Proven track record inend-to-end network automation, observability, and self-healing networks.
  • Experience inAI-driven networking, predictive analytics, and network telemetry.
  • Strong understanding ofzero-trust networking, compliance frameworks, and security policies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications:CCIE, AWS/Azure/GCP Networking, CISSP, or equivalent.
  • Experience withKubernetes networking, Terraform, Ansible, and SDN.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to network optimization.
