Job summary

NBCUniversal seeks a talented Associate Counsel to join Global IP Protection, covering anti-counterfeiting and content protection across EMEA and LATAM. You will collaborate with stakeholders, investigators and external counsel to safeguard content and brands in physical and digital environments.

This role requires UK qualification (NQ–2 PQE), Spanish proficiency, and a strong background in IP enforcement, copyright and trademark law. Strong communication and strategic thinking are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified to practice law in the UK (NQ–2 PQE).
• Spanish working proficiency; additional language helpful.
• Demonstrates diplomacy, strong communication and strategic decision-making.
• Experience handling IP rights enforcement, copyright, and trademark issues.
• Interest in creative industries with knowledge of digital ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Support anti-counterfeiting and enforcement programmes across EMEA and LATAM; draft letters and witness statements.
• Supervise outside counsel and investigators; coordinate cross-border IP enforcement.
• Advise internal stakeholders on enforcement priorities and contractual IP protections.
• Assist content protection and incident response efforts for piracy and leaks.
