Job summary

Kroll's Investigations, Diligence & Compliance Core in London is seeking an Associate to contribute to research and reporting for Fortune 500 clients. The role emphasizes rigorous public record research, data synthesis, and concise reporting on subject companies and principals.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong English writing, the ability to manage multiple assignments, and a willingness to develop regional expertise while delivering accurate, client-focused assessments.

Qualifications

Native or equivalent English language proficiency in reading comprehension.
Strong English reading and writing; summarize information from multiple sources concisely.
Proficiency in Arabic, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Russian, or Turkish.
1-2 years of professional experience (including internships)
Undergraduate or graduate degree in International Relations/Affairs, Regional Studies, Political Science, Criminal Justice, Law or related area
Ability to conduct online research using various primary and secondary sources
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to accept and apply constructive feedback
Ability to manage and prioritize several projects or assignments simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
Customer-service orientation with a dedication to quality and a strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

Conduct increasingly complex English- and foreign-language research using public record databases, commercial and proprietary databases, media sources and the Internet.
Analyze and synthesize relevant research findings.
Write well-structured, concise, logical and objective reports to provide clients with an accurate assessment of the findings. Most reports are written in English.
Manage multiple assignments from start to finish, conducting extensive Internet, database, and media research into companies and individuals to provide our clients with an accurate assessment of the status legitimacy, general background, and overall reputation of a subject company and its principals.
