Job summary

Gallagher is seeking a skilled Internal Communications professional to plan and deliver internal communications across projects, partnering with the Global Director of Communications to support engagement, change and day-to-day updates.

You will turn complex information into clear messages for different audiences, work with senior leaders and teams, and help roll out new products or processes with joined-up, useful communications.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and delivering internal communications across multiple projects or programmes.
• Ability to turn complex updates into clear, plain language for different audiences.
• Confidence working with senior leaders, business partners and colleagues at all levels.
• Comfort using Microsoft 365 tools and common internal communication channels.
• Experience supporting change work, including new products, processes or ways of working.
• Ability to use data, feedback and trends to shape and improve communications.
• Experience managing several tasks at once and keeping work moving with limited supervision.
• Ability to write original content from a blank page.
• Experience running in person and virtual meetings in a clear and engaging way.
• Background in journalism, communications, marketing or a related field would be useful.

Responsibilities

• Plan internal communications for projects and programmes from brief to delivery and shape messages that explain what is changing and why it matters.
• Work closely with senior leaders, business partners and teams to provide practical communications advice.
• Keep communication calendars and tools organised to maintain clear, consistent updates.
• Help roll out new products or processes with joined-up communications.
