Job summary

Diageo is seeking a Global Procurement Specialist - Ingredients to shape and deliver the global ingredients category strategy. You will lead end-to-end competitive sourcing, manage RFIs, RFPs and RFQs, and build strong supplier relationships to create value across the category.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams worldwide, use analytics and digital procurement tools to drive cost competitiveness, risk mitigation and continuous improvement, in support of Procurement 2028 priorities.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business.
• Experience in procurement, strategic sourcing or category management.
• Strong commercial, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with digital procurement tools and AI is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of Diageo's global Ingredients category strategy, driving sourcing excellence and commercial value.
• Lead competitive sourcing activities, including RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, commercial evaluations, contract implementation and supplier onboarding.
• Analyse spend, supplier performance and market intelligence to identify opportunities for productivity, cost optimisation, value creation and risk mitigation.
• Build collaborative relationships with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders, supporting governance, performance reviews and Joint Business Planning.
• Leverage digital procurement tools, AI, analytics and reporting to improve sourcing effectiveness and procurement performance.
• Ensure compliance with Procurement governance while supporting the delivery of Diageo's Procurement 2028 strategy and priorities.
