Job summary

Diageo is seeking a Global Procurement Specialist for Ingredients to drive the category strategy and deliver value across our global supply network. You will lead end-to-end sourcing activities, build strong supplier relationships and analyse data to optimise costs and performance.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, apply market intelligence and leverage digital tools to support governance and continuous improvement, helping Diageo achieve Procurement 2028 priorities.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified, (or equivalent experience) in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business or a related discipline.
• Experience in procurement, strategic sourcing or category management, including sourcing events, tender management and contract implementation.
• Strong commercial, analytical and stakeholder management skills, with proficiency in procurement systems and data analysis.
• Digital procurement tools, AI or advanced analytics desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of Diageo's global Ingredients category strategy, driving sourcing excellence and commercial value.
• Lead competitive sourcing activities, including RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, commercial evaluations, contract implementation and supplier onboarding.
• Analyse spend, supplier performance and market intelligence to identify opportunities for productivity, cost optimisation, value creation and risk mitigation.
• Build collaborative relationships with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders, supporting governance, performance reviews and Joint Business Planning.
• Leverage digital procurement tools, AI, analytics and reporting to improve sourcing effectiveness and procurement performance.
• Ensure compliance with Procurement governance while supporting the delivery of Diageo's Procurement 2028 strategy and priorities.
