Job summary

H9 Talent Solutions is seeking a Project Manager to own the delivery of a major UK construction contract and multiple global projects from UK offices. You will coordinate boiler, mechanical, piping and EC&I scope, lead HAZOPs, and drive commissioning to meet emission and performance guarantees, reporting to the UK MD and collaborating with Global Engineering.

The role requires international travel, strong stakeholder communication, and a background in industrial energy or process-plant projects.

Qualifications

• Proven delivery of industrial energy or process-plant projects
• Experience managing multi-package, multi-office scopes
• Experience with schedules, cost forecasts, change and risk on EPC
• Familiarity with PFDs, P&IDs, datasheets and vendor packages
• Excellent written and verbal communication; willingness to travel internationally

Responsibilities

• Deliver the live UK contract and concurrent group projects on milestones, within budget and to contractual performance guarantees.
• Drive sales-to-execution handover so technical scope, interfaces and risks are locked before detailed design starts.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering (boiler, mechanical, piping, EC&I), procurement and site so design packages and vendor documents stay on the critical path.
• Run HAZOPs, design reviews and risk registers; close actions before they become site delays or claims.
• Lead commissioning, performance testing and first-year optimisation so plants meet emission and output commitments.
• Integrate UK project controls with the global engineering platform and capture lessons into standards and tools.
• Keep customers, MD (UK) and group stakeholders aligned with clear progress, change and forecast reporting.
