Job summary

Egis seeks an experienced EPC Project Manager to join the Construction Strategy Team in the UK, delivering high-value equipment investments across major transmission programmes. You will lead procurement, manufacture, delivery and handover, guiding projects from development to close-out with key OEMs and stakeholders.

You will work in a hybrid setting, overseeing commercial management, risk, governance and supply-chain alignment to meet critical timelines while maintaining safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• Strong project management experience in energy, utilities, infrastructure, engineering or similar complex delivery environments.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing contractors, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Sound contract-management and project-governance capability.
• Experience with financial forecasting, budgeting, reporting and performance management.
• Clear communication, negotiation, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence with flexibility to travel to project and supplier locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of equipment procurement and delivery projects through pre-construction, sanction, execution and close-out.
• Manage project performance across scope, programme, cost, quality, risk, budget and governance.
• Act as NEC Project Manager (or equivalent) ensuring contractual compliance.
• Support contracting strategy, tendering and development of Works Information.
• Provide regular project status reports with accurate financial forecasting and risk data.
• Drive stakeholder satisfaction through proactive engagement with clients, suppliers and communities.
