Job summary

Healix International is seeking a commercially minded Legal Counsel to join our team in Esher or Cape Town. You will provide practical advice across the Healix Group, drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements while helping the business grow and manage risk.

You will work with Sales, Procurement and Operations, advise on corporate matters, IP, confidentiality and insurance, and liaise with external counsel to ensure compliant, efficient contracts across markets.

Qualifications

• Requires qualified solicitor with post-qualification experience.
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts.
• In-house legal experience in international context is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements including client and services contracts.
• Provide commercially focused legal advice to internal stakeholders.
• Assist in contract negotiations and manage legal and commercial risk.
• Advise on corporate and company law matters as required.
• Partner with multiple teams to deliver coordinated legal guidance.
• Support RFPs and ensure proper legal review of terms and risk considerations.
• Manage relationships with external law firms and advisers.
• Deliver legal training and guidance across the Healix Group.
• Support Healix growth into new markets globally.
