Job summary

Altum Consulting in Central London seeks a Group Financial Control & Reporting Lead to own annual external audit and consolidated IFRS reporting across multiple markets. 6-month FTC with potential to go permanent; 4 days in the office.

Candidates should be ACA qualified with Big Four experience and a strong track record in multinational audits, technical accounting, and robust financial controls. ASAP start.

Qualifications

• ACA qualified with Big Four background.
• Experience leading multinational Group audits.
• Strong IFRS technical accounting knowledge.
• Ability to manage external audit relationships.
• Experience in multi-entity international businesses.
• Delivery-focused, able to meet tight reporting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Group Audit across FY2026, coordinating deliverables, timelines and issues with international teams.
• Oversee Group Financial Reporting: consolidation and IFRS disclosures with the Group Consolidation Lead.
• Develop IFRS technical accounting papers on business combinations, goodwill, impairment, fair value and leases.
• Ensure robust financial controls and audit readiness across the Group.
• Partner with senior finance leaders and external auditors to resolve queries and reporting challenges.
• Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and documentation controls.
• Support IFRS 18 readiness and other developments in financial reporting standards.
