Hitachi Energy UK LIMITED is seeking a Project Lead Engineer to drive HVDC projects, coordinating global teams and serving as the primary technical contact for customers.

You will own project execution, manage budgets, scope and contracts, and provide technical support during testing, installation, and commissioning. Fluency in English and strong leadership are essential to deliver quality results in a complex energy landscape.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering or similar).
• 5+ years of experience in a similar lead role.
• Experience with HVDC technology is a plus.
• Power industry experience is a must.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for technical matters with customers.
• Lead multidisciplinary information in engineering development for projects.
• Drive development of new solutions for complex projects and challenges.
• Oversee completion of engineering activities on projects.
• Provide technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities.
• Prepare project documents within budget, scope and contract.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and mitigate risks.
• Maintain technical quality in contracts, documents, and deliveries.
