Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, ideally with power systems or power electronics specialization.
- Significant experience in HVDC control & protection system design and engineering.
- Proven technical leadership to define and drive global HVDC strategies across projects and teams.
- Strong understanding of HVDC control, protection, sequencing, and system integration.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead the global strategy for HVDC Control & Protection systems across projects and tenders.
- Establish reference solutions, engineering standards, tools, and governance frameworks.
- Provide technical leadership across tenders, projects, and NPI activities.
- Oversee design, deployment, configuration, integration, and validation of Control & Protection systems.
- Guide modelling and simulation activities using PSCAD, MATLAB/Simulink, PSSE, and RSCAD.
