Job summary

FTSE 100 energy group is seeking a Group Health, Safety and Environment Audit Manager to design and execute risk-based audit strategies from the UK with up to 25% travel. You will deliver independent HSE assurance and evaluate systematic risk across global operations.

Lead multi-site, high-hazard audits aligned to ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, report to executive leadership, and drive improvements in safety culture.

Qualifications

• Design and manage group-wide HSE audit programmes aligned with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
• Hold a NEBOSH Diploma, CMIOSH or equivalent, and a Lead Auditor qualification.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and action-tracking for board-level audiences.
• Extensive multi-site, international audits in high-hazard environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and execution of the group audit strategy across international sites.
• Publish clear board-level reports and track corrective actions to closure.
• Collaborate with Group HSE Director, executives, and committees.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety culture and compliance.
