Job Purpose:

To lead the global strategy and execution of the global health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) to demonstrate the value of Kyowa Kirin’s AML products, including the generation of real-world evidence, patient-reported outcome (PRO) data and health economic modelling to include in Global Value Dossier and support global Health Technology Assessments.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and accountable for the strategic direction, design, and execution of global HEOR studies
  • Lead the global haematology-oncology HEOR team ensuring timely and robust execution of HEOR studies
  • Lead the strategy development and execution of the global HEOR evidence dissemination plan
  • Develop a strong working relationship with cross-functional teams (including value & access, medical affairs, marketing, regulatory affairs, and clinical development)
  • Support reimbursement and market access for Kyowa Kirin’s product portfolio, providing strategic input on the use of clinical/real-world evidence and economic modelling to demonstrate value to payers and HCPs
  • Provide mentorship and coaching of global HEOR professionals within the haematology-oncology team
  • Provide ethical and compliant leadership embracing and fostering the Kyowa Kirin core values of integrity, innovation, teamwork/wa and commitment to life, and the Kyowa Kirin Kabegoe Leadership Principles

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

  • Significant experience in health economics and outcomes research within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry
  • Master’s degree or higher in health economics, outcomes research, epidemiology, public health, or a related discipline
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in real-world study design, data interpretation, statistical analysis, and health economic modelling
  • High level of commercial awareness and strategic thinking skills
  • Substantial experience operating in a cross-functional environment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Ability to travel domestic and internationally
