Purpose of Role:

To support the Oncology portfolio by planning and generating robust health economics and value-based evidence, maximizing value propositions from both a global and US perspective within the Market Access framework.

Major Activities / Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop strategies for health economics, evidence generation, and reimbursement support.
  • Deliver research projects, economic models, and trial design recommendations supporting programs/products.
  • Coordinate with Clinical, Medical Affairs, Marketing, External Affairs, and Market Access teams.
  • Plan, design, implement, and complete evidence-based research programs aligned with product strategies.
  • Identify new evidence generation opportunities to support lifecycle management.
  • Assist countries in developing or adapting health economic models and materials for reimbursement and payer objections.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders and external advisors in therapeutic areas.
  • Set strategic priorities and incorporate them into planning documents.
  • Lead external collaborations and advocate for data-driven decision-making.
  • Interact with senior management on strategies and long-term visions.
  • Implement evidence generation tactics, including budgeting, contracting, tracking, and publication plans.
  • Advise clinical and medical teams on evidence opportunities.
  • Support commercial teams with insights on pricing, positioning, and reimbursement based on economic evaluations.

  • Contributions to product success.
  • Effective strategies addressing data gaps and customer needs.
  • Recognition as an expert within the organization and healthcare field.
  • Peer relationships and scientific publications.
  • Compliance with SOPs, laws, and regulations.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills for payer evidence strategies.
  • Experience in cross-functional teams and understanding of market access landscape.
  • Minimum 7 years in HEOR or market access, with global experience.
  • Proven project management skills in a matrix environment.
  • Innovative thinking in evidence generation and value documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences.
Required Experiences:
  • Understanding of reimbursement decisions and value drivers.
  • Knowledge of health economics and HTA principles.
  • Experience reviewing scientific evidence and translating strategies into evidence hypotheses.
  • Application of decision analyses and understanding of Real World Evidence risks and opportunities.
Education:

Advanced degree (Doctoral or Masters) in a relevant field.

External: Payers, Reimbursement Authorities, KOLs, HTAs, review bodies.
