Eton Bridge Partners is seeking a Group Head of Risk and Insurance to lead this function for a global logistics business. Reporting to the CFO, this role focuses on proactive risk management and mitigation. The individual will identify and manage insurable risks, mitigate losses, and oversee insurance and contractual risk transfer. The role involves guiding group companies on best practices in insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate procurement of local, specialty, and site insurance policies through brokers, managing premium payments.
• Assist with marketing insurance policies, preparing presentations, and ensuring accuracy of policy terms.
• Support the Risk Committee in risk identification and participate in enterprise risk management initiatives.
• Manage the company's captive insurance arrangements.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of direct reports.

Candidate Profile:

• 8+ years of experience in corporate insurance, preferably within a large logistics environment, or in insurance brokerage with broad exposure to marine, property, casualty, and financial lines.
• Excellent communication skills capable of explaining complex risk and insurance issues clearly.
• Previous team leadership experience is highly beneficial.
• Advanced knowledge of commercial insurance products and policy language.
