Global Head of People Services & Total Rewards

London, United Kingdom

Job title: Global Head of People Services & Total Rewards

Reporting to: Chief HR Officer

Location: UK

Working arrangements: Flexible - remote, onsite, hybrid

The Role

At Inizio, we are on a mission to redefine health and life sciences by empowering our people to inspire new possibilities that advance health and build brighter futures. As we continue our global growth, we are seeking a transformative leader to serve as Global Head of People Services & Total Rewards—a critical executive role that shapes how we support, reward, and engage talent across the entire employee lifecycle.

This senior leader will define and lead the global People Services (HR Shared Services) and Total Rewards strategies and teams, ensuring they are competitive, scalable, and aligned with Inizio's business objectives and cultural values. As a key member of the Global HR Leadership Team (HRLT), the role provides executive-level guidance on compensation, benefits, equity, recognition, well-being, and core HR operations, data and analytics —driving operational excellence, innovation, and governance across the enterprise.

You will lead the design and delivery of high-performing, employee-centric HR service delivery and rewards functions that combine digital innovation, automation, and predictive analytics to enhance the employee experience and organisational health. With a focus on long-term business alignment, market differentiation, and global consistency, this role partners closely with the C-suite, Finance, Legal, and IT to influence and execute strategies that make Inizio a global employer of choice.

Supporting you in this effort, the Director of Total Rewards, regional People Services leaders and Employee relations leader, will operationalise the vision, manage execution, and ensure service and program delivery excellence across all markets.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Organisational Impact

  • Provide strategic leadership across Total Rewards and People Services, ensuring alignment with business goals, financial plans, and global regulatory requirements.
  • Champion a cohesive vision for HR operations and reward strategy, integrating equity, performance, and compliance with a people-first, service-oriented culture.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives and the Board on matters of compensation, employee relations, compliance, and workforce insights.
  • Define and execute a global total rewards strategy that balances competitiveness, internal equity, and fiscal responsibility.
  • Oversee the design and governance of executive compensation, incentive structures, global job architecture, and benefits programs.
  • Partner with the Global Chief People & Culture Officer to develop and present executive compensation strategies and reports for the Remuneration Committee.
  • Lead global HR operations including employee relations, data management, onboarding/offboarding, benefits administration, and compliance.
  • Foster a high-performing, employee-centric People Services function that emphasises continuous improvement, service quality, and innovation.
  • Expand and harmonise People Services capabilities across all regions.
  • Drive the optimisation of HR systems (e.g., Workday) and champion AI-driven innovations to enhance automation, analytics, and user experience.
  • Serve as an internal thought leader on emerging HR technologies, especially AI-driven solutions for talent, reporting, and operations.
  • Partner with IT and vendors to implement scalable digital tools that improve service delivery and empower employees and managers.

Insights & Analytics

  • Drive the optimisation and innovation of HR systems, including Workday and other technologies, to enhance automation, workflows, and self-service tools.
  • Serve as an internal thought leader on emerging HR technologies, especially AI-driven solutions for talent, reporting, and operations.
  • Partner with IT and vendors to design, implement, and scale digital solutions that improve the employee and manager experience.

Employee Relations & Risk Mitigation

  • Direct the global Employee Relations function, ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant handling of workplace issues, investigations, performance management, and policy enforcement.
  • Build frameworks and tools that proactively identify and mitigate ER-related risks, ensuring legal compliance and cultural alignment.
  • Harmonise global HR policies, processes, and systems to ensure consistency, scalability and compliance with all local and international labor laws and HR regulatory standards.

What you bring to the role

  • 15+ years of progressive global experience leading Total Rewards and People Services functions within complex, matrixed organisations.
  • Proven leadership at the executive level, with deep engagement with the Remuneration Committee, and C-suite stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in designing and executing total rewards strategies across multiple geographies, particularly in Private Equity and U.S. publicly listed environments, including IPO readiness.
  • Deep expertise in executive compensation, equity programs, global job architecture, and pay governance, with strong knowledge of SEC regulations (e.g., CD&A, Summary Compensation Tables, pay-versus-performance).
  • Track record of driving digital transformation and service excellence through HR technology and automation, including Workday, ServiceNow, Greenhouse, and AI-enabled tools.
  • Strong capabilities in HR data and analytics, including dashboard development, trend analysis, predictive modeling, and data storytelling to influence strategy.
  • Experience building and leading high-performing, service-oriented teams, with a focus on innovation, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, execution-driven approach and strong financial and business acumen.
