Global Head of ISC Value Engineering

Are you thinking about advancing your career with one of the most successful logistics organizations worldwide? Here at Kuehne+Nagel, we are looking for a new Global Head of International Supply Chain Value Engineering Manager to join our Sea Logistics team.

Your Role

Your primary objective is to drive retention and profitability by directly influencing the acquisition of new customers and fostering long-standing customer relationships through delivering measurable and objective cost savings. This role will liaise with the ISC Global Product team as well as Global Business and Commercial Development teams to support global initiatives.

Your Responsibilities

• Build, empower, and inspire a high-performing team.
• Drive growth and profitability in line with the Global ISC Strategies, measured by customer retention, growth via real cost savings, and engagement levels.
• Manage the strategy and governance of the value engineering and solutions toolkit.
• Conduct opportunity assessments to identify and prioritize value creation and cross-selling potential.
• Oversee discovery workshops, formulate problem statements, and establish performance baselines.
• Develop supply chain value roadmaps that create mutual value through improvement initiatives.
• Design and document tailored solutions, value propositions, and commercial proposals to improve supply chain components.
• Govern business reviews to prioritize improvement initiatives collaboratively with customers.
• Support account and operational managers in commercial negotiations.
• Manage project handovers and benefit realization tracking.
• Foster a career development environment for ISC colleagues, emphasizing succession planning and making KN the best company to work for.

Your Skills and Experiences

• 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management
• 5+ years of experience in international markets
• Masters degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business (preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in Process Improvement/Continuous Improvement
