Are you ready to drive impact across global categories and shape the future of procurement at Elekta? We’re looking for a strategic and results-driven professional to take ownership of our Marketing and Professional Services category. This is a high-visibility global role managing $100M+ spend, working at the heart of our indirect procurement transformation.

What you’ll do at Elekta

Your role will include (but not limited to):

• Lead category strategy development and execution for Marketing, HR, Time Hires, and Professional Services on a global scale.
• Deliver aggressive year-on-year savings targets through strategic sourcing, supplier renegotiation, and demand challenge.
• Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across Marketing, People, Finance, and Engineering functions.
• Own sourcing events, contract management, and supplier lifecycle across global markets.
• Utilize Coupa and data analytics to identify actionable insights and risks.
• Embed risk management and sustainability in every decision.
• Align category goals with business needs while managing internal change and buy-in.
• Be a visible and influential procurement leader across regions.

The right stuff

• Strong business acumen and category-specific expertise in Marketing, HR, and Professional Services.
• Proven track record in delivering high savings under pressure and managing multi-million-dollar budgets.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills at senior executive level – influencing without authority.
• Strong strategic mindset – balancing long-term transformation with short-term delivery.
• Confident in data and analytics, capable of turning spend insights into value.
• Comfortable with ambiguity, cultural complexity, and fast pace.
• Natural collaborator with the ability to challenge conventional thinking respectfully.
• Pragmatic, high-energy, and highly driven to make an impact.

What you bring

• University degree: MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• CIPS certification (preferred but not mandatory).
• Minimum 8+ years of strategic procurement experience, including global category ownership.
• Deep SME experience in at least one of the following: Marketing, Time Hires, HR, or Professional Services.
• Strong contract management and legal awareness.
• Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
• Global mindset and cross-cultural experience essential.
