You will lead the compliance governance team that translates legal and regulatory requirements into practical and executable elements within the Compliance Management System.

You’ll make an impact by

  • Ensuring harmonized, effective, and efficient global compliance processes, solutions, and risk management activities for anti-corruption, antitrust, anti-money laundering, export control, data privacy, human rights, and ethics
  • Sponsoring and steering key strategic compliance projects and change management activities that support global company transformation goals
  • Defining and driving the comprehensive compliance tool, digitalization, and analytics strategy and landscape, including project management, budget, and IT resource engagement (internal and external)
  • Collaborating with peer governance departments to implement and operate integrated and highly automated preventive and detective governance, risk management, and control solutions in business processes
  • Owning the implementation and execution of multi-disciplinary transactional due diligence processes and tools (e.g., sanctioned party screenings, product end-use checks, third-party integrity, beneficial ownership, conflicts of interest, data use and restrictions) in a highly complex technical and business environment
  • Continuously monitoring and adapting our Compliance Management System and risk management framework to maintain compliance with constantly evolving regulatory requirements
  • Leading all aspects of the Compliance Management System portfolio management process, including approvals, documentation, and communication
  • Leading and motivating a big, diverse and international team of compliance specialists and technical professionals, through both reporting lines and matrixed networks and project teams
  • Benchmarking good practices and new technologies with comparable multinational organizations, industry associations, and leaders with vision
  • Influencing ethical and responsible business conduct throughout the value chain

Your defining qualities

  • Education

You have a completed master’s degree in business administration or tech, not necessarily legal

  • Experience & skills
    • Many years of business experience leading large and highly sophisticated IT projects
    • Proven professional experience (+10 years) in team leadership role with a large and global organization
    • Knowledge of a broad spectrum of compliance regulatory areas, business and governance processes, and technologies
    • Deep knowledge of and experience with process design, risk management, change management, project management, and governance and control system optimization
    • Confirmed understanding of strategic orientation and an ability to apply it to practical operational solutions
  • Ways of working
    • Experience in diplomatically navigating ambitious situations and complex collaborator relationships
    • Continuous growth into new and emerging technology areas and risk management techniques
