Job Description:

The hedge fund is building out a systematic Commodities business with zero current exposure. The Head of Commodities will be responsible for creating a PnL-driven business, with autonomy to develop the full Commodities suite.

Key requirements include:

• A strong, current, and proven track record in Commodities.
• Experience in building successful Commodities verticals and vetting PMs.
• Established relationships with market connectivity and data vendors.
• Knowledge of costs, timelines, and infrastructure needs.

The fund will support initial costs, and there is flexibility regarding IP ownership and due diligence limits. Centralized quantitative resources will assist with infrastructure buildout.

Must Have:

• Annual PnL of $20Mn+.
• Current positive track record with a Sharpe ratio of 1.7+.
• Extensive experience in the Commodities sector.
• Experience in building Commodities verticals.
• Expertise in Cross-Commodities, Cross Energy, or Metals strategies.
