Job Description

Summary: Join HSBC as the Global Head of Client Lifecycle Management, Global Private Banking. This role involves leading a team to ensure a consistent, high-quality client journey across all lifecycle stages, maintaining compliance with policies and regulations, especially concerning KYC and CDD.

Role Purpose: Reporting to the COO of Global Private Banking & Wealth & Premier Solutions, you will oversee the global CDD process, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with regional teams and second line functions to enhance systems and processes. The role can be based in Hong Kong, Singapore, London, or Geneva and involves being part of the COO Leadership Team.

Principal Responsibilities:

1. Ownership of the GPB CDD Process, including system oversight and process enhancements.
2. Set strategy and direction for the Global CLM Team.
3. Lead transformation initiatives related to the CDD process.
4. Ensure compliance with all KYC and CDD regulations and policies.
5. Prioritize deliverables to maintain a high-performing team.
6. Implement and manage the CLM governance framework.
7. Report key performance metrics and address issues proactively.
8. Collaborate to improve operational processes and systems.
9. Resolve issues promptly with stakeholders.
10. Manage changes to CDD systems as regulations evolve.
11. Report to senior management and ensure timely issue resolution.
12. Implement succession and talent management for the team.

Management of Risk

The role involves owning and improving the CDD risk and control framework, ensuring compliance, and escalating control issues as needed.

Requirements
