Job summary

State Street is seeking a Global Head of Financing and Portfolio Solutions Operations to lead a 250+ person global team across Boston, London, Mumbai, Bangalore and other hubs. The role focuses on governance, transformation, and risk excellence across FPS operations.

You will partner with technology, risk, finance and legal teams to deliver scalable, post-trade services and drive improvements across the entire operating model.

Qualifications

• Proven senior leadership in capital markets or related operations (20+ years).
• Experience building and guiding large, global teams across regions.
• Demonstrated ability to drive large-scale transformation and change.
• Strong commercial judgment and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global FPS Operations organization across regions, ensuring governance and strong controls.
• Drive transformation and modernization with technology and risk teams for scalable processes.
• Strengthen controls and resiliency; reduce operational risk and protect the firm.
• Deliver seamless post-trade support: confirmations, settlement, clearing, data management.
• Oversee vendor management and cyber risk in service delivery.
• Optimize operating model and cost base to enable growth and global consistency.
• Attract, develop, and retain top talent with strong succession planning.
