Job summary

A PE-backed international media business in London is seeking a Group Accountant. This permanent, full-time role involves managing group reporting, compliance, and supporting finance leadership. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with strong technical skills. Qualifications

• Experience in a PE-backed or high-growth environment desirable.
• Strong understanding of UK GAAP and consolidated reporting.
• Comfortable in a fast-moving, evolving environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Group Financial Controller and CFO across group reporting.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare accurate consolidated group financial statements.
• Act as key contact for external auditors and tax advisors.
• Oversee statutory accounts and compliance across regions.

Skills

Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CA)

Strong technical accounting and group reporting skills

Proactive and process-minded

Advanced Excel skills
