London | 18 months - fixed term contract | 3 rotations

BAT is evolving at pace into a global multi-category business. Our purpose is to create A Better Tomorrow™ by Building a Smokeless World. To achieve our ambition, we are looking for colleagues who are ready to join us on this journey! Tomorrow can’t wait, let’s shape it together!

British American Tobacco has an exciting opportunity for a Graduate in London. Join our 18-month Global Graduate Programme in Finance and complete three rotations across the Finance organisation. You will gain hands‑on experience in areas such as forecasting, performance tracking, business partnering and detailed revenue and marketing analysis, while contributing to decisions that shape commercial performance.

Each graduate will experience a unique experience, shaped around business priorities and your development needs. To give you an idea of the type of work you will be doing, previous placements have included:

  • Forecasting, budgeting and performance reporting
  • Analysis of financial data and turning insights into recommendations
  • Partnering with commercial teams on business decisions
  • Contributing to cross-functional Finance projects
  • Working in growth capabilities, unlocking insights from revenue to marketing to help shape the business

You will not be doing this alone. A dedicated coach and mentor will support your development, alongside structured learning and a global network of fellow graduates. In addition to this, you will get the opportunity to attend our International Grad Academy where you will collaborate in person with BAT graduates from around the world. By the end of the programme, you will have built the commercial, strategic and leadership capabilities needed to take the next step in your career with BAT.
