Job summary

M&G Investment Management (MAGIM) seeks an experienced professional to lead operational oversight of delegated fund management and advisory arrangements. You will assess non-investment due diligence, manage breach reporting, and support governance with internal stakeholders across Risk, Compliance and Investment teams.

The role offers exposure to global EFMs and custodians, contributing to the efficiency and integrity of investment processes within MAGIM.

Qualifications

• IMC/IOC or equivalent investment management qualification is desirable.
• End-to-end knowledge of fund management processes from order generation to trading to post-trade activities.
• Understanding the life-cycle of equity or fixed income trades and familiarity with futures, options and OTC derivatives within a fund.
• Experience conducting Operational Due Diligence and ongoing oversight of fund management companies.
• Knowledge of supplier oversight, outsourcing and third-party risk management frameworks.
• Experience governance reporting and presenting to committees, boards or senior stakeholders.
• Ability to communicate with CIOs, COOs, and investment professionals in writing and verbally.
• Strong analytical skills and natural problem solving mindset.
• Driven, confident self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support oversight of MAGIM’s international sub-delegation arrangements, including periodic reviews and governance reporting.
• Manage non-investment oversight and due diligence for directly appointed managers in line with frameworks.
• Review and approve breach reports and support incident management.
• Prepare Attestations, MI and KPIs for approvals.
• Monthly reporting to governance bodies and internal boards.
