Job summary

M&G plc seeks a senior oversight professional to manage operational due diligence, governance reporting, and third-party fund management oversight. You will interact with Investment Office, Risk, Compliance, and Legal, ensuring adherence to governance standards and regulatory requirements.

The role involves coordinating with external fund managers, custodians and internal teams to maintain robust oversight, and supporting change initiatives within the EFM framework.

Qualifications

• IMC/IOC or equivalent investment management qualification desirable.
• Experience conducting Operational Due Diligence and oversight of fund management companies or third-party providers.
• Strong governance reporting and presenting to committees, boards or senior stakeholders.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for delegated and outsourced investment management arrangements.
• Ability to communicate with CIOs, COOs and senior investment professionals clearly.

Responsibilities

• Support Sub-Delegated Funds frameworks and ensure adherence to policies.
• Oversee international sub-delegation arrangements and governance reporting.
• Manage due diligence for directly appointed managers and internal clients.
• Review breach reports and implement preventative measures.
• Prepare Attestations, MI and KPIs for approvals.
• Monthly reporting to EFM Oversight Group and internal boards.
