Job summary

Greenjets in Milton Keynes is seeking a Deployment Operations Manager to plan and deliver flight trials, demonstrations and other operational activities worldwide. You will orchestrate the deployment of people, aircraft, equipment and facilities to ensure safe, on-time delivery and post-trial reviews.

The role requires strong aviation operations experience, robust logistical skills and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams across unfamiliar locations with short notice.

Qualifications

• Significant experience supporting or delivering aviation operations.
• Strong operational, logistical and resource planning skills.
• Experience moving personnel, equipment and dangerous goods.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in demanding environments.
• Willingness to travel internationally (~20%).

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate global flight trials, demonstrations and ground-testing activities.
• Develop deployment plans, schedules, resource requirements and contingencies.
• Coordinate personnel, aircraft, equipment, facilities and supporting services.
• Act as Trials Manager on site.
• Ensure teams are trained and ready.
• Coordinate international movement of personnel, aircraft and dangerous goods.
• Manage relationships with customers, partners and test sites.
• Maintain deployment equipment and asset registers.
• Produce trial plans, risk assessments and lessons learned.
• Manage operational risks and competing demands.
• Ensure compliance with procedures and aviation safety.
• Share performance info and lessons with Engineering and Business Development.
