Job summary

RWE Supply & Trading GmbH is seeking a skilled commodities trader to join our global grains and softs desk in the UK. You will trade financial grains, oilseeds and softs, taking proprietary positions within our governance and risk framework, and you will work closely with physical grains traders to align financial and physical activities.

With 3–5 years of experience in financial or proprietary agricultural trading, you will analyse markets, manage risk and contribute to the growth of our

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in financial or proprietary agricultural commodities trading (grains/softs).
• Demonstrable trading track record with profit, loss and risk management.
• Strong understanding of agricultural markets, trading strategies and structured products.
• Confident use of approved AI tools with sound judgement on outputs.
• Ability to decide in fast-moving markets and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Trade financial grains, oilseeds and softs within governance and risk framework.
• Analyse global agricultural markets to identify opportunities and inform strategies.
• Collaborate with physical grains traders to align hedging and market activities.
• Identify and execute structured trading opportunities for institutional clients.
• Help develop the physical grains business and strengthen market relationships.
• Build market intelligence and deal flow across grains and softs markets.
• Support AI-enabled workflow improvements.
